Will be a stock issuance

By far the most likely reason for a halt. Will have to release share issuance news then news of resumption of trading. Could take all day or even into tomorrow. My guess would be $.48 share issuance price  hopefully no warrants, but could be warrants attached as well. Again this is my guess but most likely reason for halt

So if, say, they issue shares at 48 cents, then inevitably the stock price will drop upon resumption given that it was halted at 59 cents?

Probably yes. My guess is they didn't want the price to go any higher then it already has and are just fianlizing the details of the issuance that has most likely been in the works for a while. Would be happy to be wrong and its a $5 takeover bid lol.

Now a $5 takeover bid would be a wonderful present for all of us!  So you don't think it could be news of a a new sales deal or contract, etc.  Guess for halting to have been implemented, it would have to be a significant development good or bad.

If we look back to the last PP at $0.14 the stock price did hang around there for a while, but that issue was also done at around $0.14 (ish).  Imagine how those investors feel today! Shortly after it closed, along with the debt closure, the preview of results, and the Flax for life deal the stock price took off. I'm going to say a PP will be priced around $0.53, with warrants in ...more
