I was hoping Paul would hint on a possible application to broader markets in the near future. If they want to make noise, especially in Canada, 2021 is their biggest opportunity. Vancouver has already pushed back the single use plastic ban to 2022. I was impressed by Paul's remark that they aren't relying heavily on regulations but consumer sentiment on plastic waste. Hopefully their new acquisition in Ontario will be picking up more contracts before the 2021 deadline.

As far as the single use plastic ban goes, I don't think it will benefit GDNP. Biodegradable plastics are still single use plastics. When I talked to their Investor relations I asked about it, and the guy said it's only a percieved notion that GDNP will benifit from the ban.

They're using 2021 as a transition year but the ban will be enforced in 2022 due to Covid which is understandable. GDNP will definitely benefit from the plastic ban no doubt and you're foolish if you believe otherwise. Benefit by increased sales and/or possible takeover - which I now see happening near the end of 2021.

To further my previous post, here is this article: Canada's single use plastics law may restrict biodegradable plastics. https://www.environmentlawinsights.com/2020/02/07/canadas-single-use-plastics-law-may-restrict-biodegradable-plastics/.

I don't see GDNP being restricted as they will be bringing new innovating materials to market (according to BNN interview) and because of the mere fact the BDC (Canadian governmentbank) is invested. So I'm sure they're already aware of this. Paul also stated a bioplastic bag in a matter of time. So not too sure why he'd say that only to be restricted.
