o what I see is about 2 months of drilling and a couple holes at Romero on the pending list

Was any drilling done beyond this...not likely. Other exploration activities....likely.

 Rumor has it the gold was so good that the samples could not be retreived. The solid gold cores slid out of the drill pipe when they tried to bring them to the surface.   Another rumor is that the gold was so good that the drill bits would gall over with gold and rhodium and not cut.   Now back to reality...

Obvius exaggeration, but there is indeed a risk of proving up too big a deposit without first getting the permit. I honestly would not be surprised if the deposit turns out to be much bigger.
