Pretty sure some of Jeff's big news would have been related the release of the certified fiscal plan for PREPA and within would hopefully be the next round of renewable generation releases.

The was to be a special meeting on Friday but that has been posponed once again.

Although this certification "may" (this is unknown because the Fiscal Plan has never been made public)  provide for more renewable generation the timelines are still unknown and Montalva is still one of many renewable generation projects hoping to be approved.
They have already spent their 2002 budget, in less then six months, and are going to need more money to pay for fuel so who knows what direction this could potentially go.

PREPA has asked for another extension to August 1st. Supposed to be a response to this on Monday.

Don't care where you stand,just wanted to know what you expect Jeff to announce that fit the requirement of the blackout.

It has been somewhat the whole issue about a NR stating a blackout period. This is a totally unnecessary waste of money as there is only a few people that shouldn't be trading and they could communicate internally to remind insiders about not buying or selling. But that is all it needs to be. Stating the blackout publicly is merely Jeff puffing up. Not mandatory and not necessary. More trying

Ok Shnepper it's all smoke and mirrors designed to get excitement where none is warranted,We will have announcements but nothing unexpected.If you are right I and most other bullers will be sorely disappointed.BUT,I really expect BIG news and am sure Mr C will deliver.

9islucky , since you seem to be the only believer, I would be curious to know what Big news you expect and when ? I really think your are dreaming of a news !  I know all your money is in GRB but unfortunately dreaming is not a good investment plan !  On my part I don't think there will be any news before August and the news will probably be an other delay. We ll see who's

I have no feel for what will be announced,but expect it to be BIG.Why:  because our leader said there will be several MAJOR announcements regarding POSITIVE project milestones and NEW DEAL JOINT VENTURES.Sounds BIG to me.
