Shneps, Tehachapi isn't in the Antelope Valley... The Antelope Valley is bordered by the Tehachapi mountains in the northwest. Sven, I'll have to take your word on that one. There are multiple references of Tehachapi being an extension of the Antelope Valley but I don't have time to review further. Shneps, I think the references you've read indicate the Tehachapi Mountains, not the city of Tehachapi. These mountains border the Antelope Valley in the northwest but they further extend to the northeast (upper side of the triangle shape). Tehachapi is located in Tehachapi Valley higher up north within the Tehachapi mountains. The word Tehachapi translated from native language means ...more
