Waste Water Treatment Proposal

Interesting to see that the City has seemingly abandoned their previous proposal of treating the City's waste water and percolating it back into the basin for water credits.
The new proposal is to merely move from the current farm field location to a new location south east of the City.
I would assume this means the City will be dropping one lawsuit against the District.
Appears to also mean that the new proposal will not supply them with any future water for supply for the City's needs.

The normal discussions related to the Sage Ranch water requirements is for 350 AF or 466Af of actual which is for the dwelling units themselves. There is also 70AF or 93 actual AF of water required for the HOA to water the lawns, parks and gardens. The final water assessment acknowledged that the Water District would not be supplying this water and the City would need to supply. This a total of ...more

The lawsuit is still pending, so the outcome is uncertain. Even if the city won, it would be years before they would see any benefit.
