Puerto Rico Governor

Puerto Rico's newly elected Governor just outlined her agenda for her upcoming term.

Gonzalez-Colon has always disliked the LUMA consortium so that will be interesting but the more important agenda follows:

"Gonzlez Coln announced that she will begin working on several key initiatives, including seeking a second operator for LUMA Energy, the private consortium contracted to manage the island’s electric power transmission and distribution system, to resolve the entrenched problems with the grid.
She also plans to promote the construction of new generation plants and their conversion to natural gas."

Nothing about solar generation.
Interesting.

Natural gas power plants fed with LNG makes a lot more sense than solar. I can picture what happens to solar panels in a hurricane.
