What would it take to get share price to $2

Serious question. I see potential; the PP was probably approved for growth & paying off the line of credit. So my question is - where is Gatekeeper growth?

I see the temperature guage as important for Covid temperature checks; this is probably the short term share price driver.

Yet I also see the camera aspect valuable for bus driver & passenger safety. Letting police forces do their jobs while catching violent criminals. My wife works in retail at a shopping mall; a facial snapshot might scare off a lot of shoplifters.

Where do you see potential growth?

Forgot to mention; the company is paying my wife $200 a day to stand at the door as a Greeter. Yet her actual job is to count people walking in & out the door; instead of sales which she was hired to do... Because the government Covid cops keep dropping by to ensure the store is not over their new Covid customer limits; seriously! I see a great Gatekeeper opportunity. "My wife works in ...more

Great question Gord. We have some good contributors on this board who are more into the details than I can provide. My two cents on growth: 1) More contracts/revenues within our existing product lines - this may sound obvious, but there are hundreds of thousands of buses not currently equipped with GSI video recorders, so let's grow the bread n buttter business. Need to grow business ...more

Nice summary, Dunworkin'. Like you, I see the real value of the business is in #1 - for now.  I think ITSS driving SP is or has been just silliness, but that's the market.  The data potential is very intriguing and likely more positive in the long run than ITSS, which really is important more as an indication of how quickly adaptable their equipment/R & D is.   ...more

One should keep in mind that ITSS systems have facial recognition capabilities and that aspect if adopted for use has almost endless capabilities, beyond transit. GSI realizes this.

Don't get me wrong - I think it's amazing tech, just not what should drive us past $1 right now.  As a data gathering tool I would hope it will be really valuable in the future.
Comment by mikeonmicrocap on Dec 12, 2020 2:05pm
ITSS  is only the beginning.  Health monitoring via PaaS is the wave of the future. Instant scans to detect changes in heart rythym, blood pressure, and even diabetes via eye screens. Also, think of schools and school buses having perimeter checks to detect convicted child molestors.  Throw in cities using facial recognition  derived from  terrrorist data base monitoring ...more

No one engages, responds or respects your opinion whatever. The majority of posters have you on ignore, but for some reason you find it necessary to spend hours upon hours here every week. How about you actually buy some shares in the company and then ask Doug these questions yourself? At this point there's absolutely no reason any involved with the company would even give you a second of ...more

The chances of individual states, New York, Pennsylvania, California Florida etc. mandating health measures and safety measures for all busses in the state, to secure children and passengers is pretty good. It is politically correct at this time. Just one takes this to two bucks. The bus manufacturers deciding to put our equipment, onto all new busses, with add-ons by the customer ...more

Gord  The LOC for gatekeeper is not in use. Aka. They have not taken any of the 3 million there. It is a back up line only. There is no need to pay off anything as they have not accessed it as of the date of these year end financials.
Comment by Torontojay on Dec 12, 2020 11:33am
What are you talking about? According to year end financials they have already used $1,411,969 of the 3 million credit facility from Td bank. Their short terms loans and other lines of credit from the past have been fully repaid.

IMO GSI needs another large transit contract the size of SEPTA. NYCMTA, the TTC, SFOMTA would be good examples. Such a contract would prove GSI is becoming a leader in the industry. The value of the SEPTA contract is somewhat discounted by the market because GSI had to buy a company to get the contract. But no question it was a great move. The new ITSS syetem if widely accepted by both transit and ...more

A PP proposal at $2?  ..too soon?
Comment by Torontojay on Dec 13, 2020 5:28pm
So far there is a lot of customer concentration on Septa so I think we need to see additional large transit authorities to be given that $1 or more valuation. Motorola for instance has less customer concentration than Gatekeeper does so it's probably worth a slight premium at the moment.  I would guess that over time we will see recurring revenue and less customer concentration so that ...more

</br /any reason why this technology isn't being marketed for use at airports, cab services and train stations to link transportation networks with all forms of travel. (maybe i missed it). expanding the scope of the product beyond busses and trains and linking the marketing to all forms of transportation brings access to a broader market and one solution for all travel within a city. imo ...more
