Jaye Robinson , (TTC chair)  mentions , ''there is no way to secure or capture the license plate''.----    I am not sure if he is referring to physically removing a plate, or the inability to read the numbers on a plate. --If the latter is the case ,maybe someone should highlight this statement to our VP of sales ,and to Dyment in a quick memo.

I recall the investor slides using pictures of the TTC streetcars in their investor slides so I'm sure they're trying. Let's hope it's GSI.V's products they're considering right now and not a competitor. The context was in the absence of cameras (current situaiton) they could not "capture" plate numbers.

I think what Jaye is referring to is the way it currently is with expecting the transit operator to be able to see the plate on the offending vehicle. With a camera it would be recorded and downloaded at end of shift. Sent to the enforecment bureau. A simple mto check and send the registered owner of the vehicle the offence notice. I'm sure it would be the same as the photo radar where there ...more

Just keep JustineTrudeau out of the decision making or some company from China will get the business and one of his best friends will be the middle man to make sure he gets his cut on the deal.
