Just watched a video on CHEK TV Victoria bc. They interviewed a driver who claimed cars are passing buses at an alarming rate,someone was video taping from inside the bus and it was scarey,lets see Abbottsford to Victoria couple of hours to get there,send out the sales team,its right in your backyard!!!!

I don't think so, I've asked Doug before about this and i don't think that's the business model he wants to take when it comes to stop-arm.

The statement from the police essentially says “Unless you provide us with undisputable video evidence, these infractions aren’t worth our time”.   Other issues I seem to recall. Just going from memory here. In some jurisdictions tickets can only be issue by the police department. Bus operators will likely want to pass on the cost of this service to school boards, their contractual partners ...more

I've thought about this a bit, given the police are the one's who would issue the infractions (i.e. the one's receiving revenue from any initiative to install this equipment - no private company is going to invest in this without a return of some sort), shouldn't they be the one's targeted to purchase the equipment/pay the monthly fees and they can sort out operating agreements ...more
