Not too many publicly traded companies in the same space as GSI. Have a look at REKOR that commands a market cap of $240M USD. Financials are brutal.

same Rev as GSI a $0.70 loss/share plus 2 Analysts covering with a TP of $4.50US. Crazy. Rev of $28m and a loss of $50.4m

Not sure what problem they are really trying to solve beyond say trying to find a particular vehicle/color or license plate on the road for law enforcement.

    Interesting to note Bruce Campbell on market call picked REKOR as his top pick for the year after at one time liking GSI< that was a couple years ago. He must really like the business type. That was Wednesday.

I certainly would not base my investment strategy on what Bruce Campbell says, he goes where he can get the fastest buck in my opinion. He is up and down like a toilet seat in a co ed bath room., very fickle,  I do enjoy listening to him as he does have a certain charisma, bottom line is  he does what is best for him and does not give a rats asss about anyone else. thats the  I Isee

looks like Rekor lost about $83m in Y2022 compared to $50m for Y2023. So somewhat appears they are heading in the right direction but what a burn rate. From what I can see they fund their business by ussuing equity/shares and ussuing notes/bonds. They will likely need a few more years before they see any profit. Do investors in the US look 3-5 years out and price accordingly?  Maybe they do

All this yammering , and yammering about a company REKOR , that is in no way ,anywhere near as strong in (any way) ,  as Gatekeeper  . Not even worth comparing or  considering REKOR for any sort of comparison,  EXCEPT: EXCEPT :: 2 analysts covering . ---That's the big deal .Thats it in a nutshell ..  Bring the analysts over here,we go to $2  quickly. ---Should not

I did have a quick look since it’s the weekend and I must admit that I don’t comprehend what they are all about and what benefits they supply to their customers. To me they seem to be another company cashing in on the AI boom with very little similarities to GSI who uses AI for very real solutions to very specific, proven and tangible problems in the public transit sector. That said, the

US stocks command higher valuations just by nature of being on US stock exchanges, can't really compare 1 to 1 as nice as it is to daydream of Gatekeeper commanding the same multiples that would come be after graduating to TSX.V and maybe being cross-listed on NYSE which I guess would be nice, but imo the company getting bought out has a higher likelihood
