I doubt many of us believed in the $2.60 share price exhuberance shown by Money Mark. We questioned the lofty 2024 EPS of .13 (which was used to arrive at the $2.60 share price) and were grounded by our EPS estimates of .07/.08 for 2024.  How long have you heard about GSI? If you look at the chart, you could see an upward channel starting in last trading days in January to present, the share price is now at the bottom of that upward channel. During this channel formation there has been 3 corrections of about 15%, today marks the 4th one. Earnings is out in 2 weeks and Doug said he is looking forward to see how the market reacts. why people are selling before Q2 is beyond me. DD has said pretty clearly it will be good. Mark gave an example last week of another stock that pulled back sharply because people thought a bad Q was coming. Might have been Evolv but don't quote me. Mark said when the Q came out it was a great Q as he thought it would be and the stock recovered just as quick. He does make a point of saying

Yep, besides profit taking / trading a position there is really no reason to sell in advance of Q2 (except unfounded fear that it won't exceed Q2 2023) and potential new buyers coming in after engaging with Doug at LD Micro. I must say that someone using Scotia to trade was really setting the table for these 3 down days with relatively large sell orders form the on-set.
