Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - March 26, 2024) - Mako Mining Corp. (TSXV: MKO) (OTCQX: MAKOF) ("Mako") and Goldsource Mines Inc. (TSXV: GXS) (OTCQX: GXSFF) ("Goldsource") are pleased to announce that they have entered into an arrangement agreement (the "Arrangement Agreement"), pursuant to which Mako will acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Goldsource (the "Goldsource Shares"), in exchange for common shares of Mako (the "Mako Shares"), by way of a plan of arrangement (the "Transaction").

This is an absolute slap in the face to long time GXS investors / shareholders who supported and stuck with Goldsource Mines for many many years. To be paid an annual salary of $275k while overseeing the continued erosion of shareholder value in this company over the past number of years is unjustifiable and appalling. I wondered the same, re. Silvercrest not stepping in. It must be a total cluster fack there at Eagle Mountain. Management just gave the company away, feels like they just gave up. I lost all respect for them. Disgusting.

Way more upside for GXS w/ MKO vs SIL. MKO stock is cheap itself and they have a mandate to play offense in this gold bull market. I'm really excited about this transaction.  SIL would probably lose some of its premium if it a) bought a gold asset and b) bought one planning to produce < 100k oz per year. I think the webcast is definitely worth a watch. It's time to start

I have just watched the YouTube presentation and can see the benefit for GXS from being bought by Mako. GXS was drifting to no where and capital was low. Massive dilution was coming just to keep the current work going. Funding the development of the mine was nearly impossible with such low share price. Since the announcement we already nearly doubled (POG helped too) and the market will continue
