Great news but it is only a pilot plant
Commercial production, whenever that happens, will be a major milestone.
Anyone know what production rate can be expected from the pilot plant ?
We are at an excellent entry point for anyone still on the fence.

Where I come from a pilot plant is not able to produce commercial quantities. The NR was carefull to call it a pilot plant.4 times and did not use the word ' commercial" even once. You are right that I did not know what the production rates, whether pilot or commercial, of this plant will be. Thanks to your reply we now know that commercial production is 2500 metric tons a year.

Elan, I didn’t explain myself well enough. Yes of course it’s a pilot plant. All I’m saying is: Once the pilot is proven, this sized plant is large enough for commercial service BUT... that is not the end game of size and scope.. I would encourage you to look at their presentation on their web site.. The next phase is massive....

The pilot plant is anticipated as being able to produce 50 TPA.. 2% of the anticipated commercial scale plants.
