It is just mind boggling to hear BT state the patent is very strong and protected.

First - congratulations obtaining the patent!
Second - strong?
Third - protected?
Fourth - strong and protected is only based on how much $$$$ the moral entity is prepared to defend their patent claim with.
Fifth - moral entity resources are not available to defend patent infringement.

Feel free to add an opinion or add to the list  which is not exhaustive.

After first few mins of A rambling, I went to the end of the interview to hear some summary stuff and updates.  Caught the part where Bernard becoming the next Musk is no longer a joke. And then after the pre-selection for the grant, now they have to fill up and application and go through the grant process. (?) I still don't think 750K Euro grant is that significant for potential military

Presumably he is referring to an International patent. The U.S. patent application is a separate issue and as I stated previously I cannot find a current application. Anyone else??

Patent applications are not published for the public to view until 18 months has passed from application date.
