Think some on this board might be interested in this. Appears Krygyz aren’t interested in paying this ward even if Stans due to costs, debt and commissions stands to get next to nothing. Looks like funders are in for a lot more legal time, unless they negotiate a hefty decrease in the award.
 
Government: Stans Energy decision does not automatically pay arbitration amount

The decision of the arbitration court on the suit of Stans Energy Corp companies must be confirmed in the jurisdictions of the respective countries, the press service of the government said with reference to the Center for Judicial Representation.

It is noted that the decision of the arbitration court does not mean that the Kyrgyz side will automatically pay the specified amount.

“This decision must still be confirmed in various jurisdictions, that is, in the state judicial bodies of specific countries. And the government is already taking appropriate measures to challenge the arbitration decision, which is always accompanied by lengthy lawsuits, ”the government noted….
