IBR Release

Press Release Source: International Bio-Recovery Corporation IBR announces start up of EATAD plant in Baotou, China Friday April 15, 5:07 pm ET TSX Venture Exchange symbol: IBR VANCOUVER, April 15 /CNW/ - International Bio Recovery Corporation ("IBR") (TSX-V: IBR - News) a biotech company with a proprietary technology (EATAD) to convert organic waste into environmentally progressive soil fertility products, announced today that CFO Holdings Corp. (CFO) and Ningbo Shanshan Environment Co. Ltd. (Shanshan) have commenced operations converting municipal organic waste at their IBR EATAD plant in Baotou, China. The plant is successfully digesting, again demonstrating the core IBR technology. Proprietary equipment purchased from IBR and the IBR processes are all performing as designed. This waste management facility demonstrates the capabilities of the IBR EATAD technology in the world's largest market. The Baotou plant, with an initial 400 tonne per day (tpd) organics handling capacity, processes mixed municipal solid waste (MSW) from the city of over two million. The integrated facility sorts the garbage into recoverable recyclables, and separates the organic fraction and converts it into high value organic fertilizers for consumption by large-scale agriculture in China. These fertilizers rebuild marginal soils and reduce the reliance on chemical fertilizers and agricultural inputs in a country with an increasing demand for healthy crops and production. Baotou is demonstrating an environmentally friendly and economically viable technology to the world, at a time when many other organic waste treatment technologies have failed. CFO purchased the rights to develop IBR technology in China, and this first plant to be operated by Shanshan Environmental Co. is the prequel of many planned plants in the Chinese market, providing an appropriate solution to a country making major efforts to reverse the environmental impact of rapid economic and population growth. "This is a major milestone in the development of IBR as it represents the first commercial scale plant operating under license from IBR," said Elmer Friesen, President and CEO of IBR. About IBR International Bio Recovery Corporation (IBR) has developed an environmental technology, which processes organic material from municipal solid waste, agricultural manures and surplus organics from food production into innovative, environmentally progressive fertility products. Located in North Vancouver, BC, IBR markets its technology through the sale of licenses. The Company's current and medium term focus is to further develop its marketing capacity to enhance technology license sales. The Company is committed to research and development to continue to improve the effectiveness of its technology and the quality of its fertility products. It is further committed to developing a world wide marketing capability to ensure market acceptance of its fertility products. https://www.newswire.ca/en/releases/orgDisplay.cgi?okey=35806 For further information please contact: Ben Van Dyk, Chairman of the Board, IBR, (604) 924-1023 ext 304, (604) 924-1043 fax, info@ibrcorp.com Henry J.
