Nick sold another 170000 shares last week just reported on SEDAR.
Still holds almost 6 million shares. At this rate he'll be out in about a year. Sly bugger

With Nick continuing to sell his shares I feel it safe to say a buyout is not imminent. Not imminent nor close unfortunately.  As much as that result is what we are all looking forward too, selling shares now and leaving hundreds of thousand if not millions of dollars on the table just isn't likely.

Still has over 6 million, even insiders can't know if there's a buyout on the table. That is called 'insider trading'. The guy clearly needs some money, for a reason that he doesn't need to disclose. Even insiders have lives!

I don't understand the statement: "Even insiders can't know if there's a buyout on the table" That makes no sense. If he is a Director, I am sure he would know. However, as I previously posted, it is possible that these trades may be indirect transfers to family members that he needs to implement via the exchange rather than as direct transfers. This is often done for tax ...more

The following is an example of a tax motivated transfer that could be the real explanation for Nick's sales. Let's say that Nick has a couple of family members who have never set-up TFSAs. The contribution limit for 2022 would be $81,500.
