Assay Results thoughts

Warren Buffett doesn't like gold.

His reasoning...the lack of utility in it. I see his point to an extent. He is a value investor and a rare metal whose main use is a store of wealth does not align with his strategy.

He is however bullish on silver. It is a sentiment shared by many as silver and base metals like copper and zinc have increasing utility as we transition into an electric society.

Silver is used extensively in the creation of EVs and Solar Panels. Electric vehicles need 25-50 grams of silver per vehicle.

While I do not see major economies ever returning to a "gold standard" and pushing the price of gold into the tens of thousands of dollars per ounce, I do forecast a significant uptick in the value of silver currently sitting at $19/oz USD.

In the last couple of assay results from Laurion we have seen good results on silver and zinc. Copper has also been noted in may holes. I think this is strategic.

The Ontario government wants to be at the forefront on the essential mineral production for the transitioning economy. They have unveiled a strategy to reduce the regulations involved in mining specific to the minerals that feed into the EV future (and present). This, I think is very positive for Laurion.

5 more holes to go...I wonder if we'll get all 5 assays by year end.

I believe we will get the results before end of year. I spoke to someone with industry knowledge, to be clear, Not Laurion knowledge, and he confirmed that the companies preforming the testing and reporting are all backlogged, it is an industry wide issue this year. He also said that they should be released once the company gets the result. After my conversation I am confident that the results ...more

Given how they have been coming Im fairly confident we will. These were some of the better results from the recent assays so hopefully they are saving the best for last!

Tell me I'm wrong, but todays results like pretty darn good, right?

Didn't you read the press release today?  They said they were "very pleased to announce..." instead of just the usual "pleased to announce..." Looks good to me!

no they were not GREAT, but they were good and helped to expand the zone. They also suggest a new area for more deposits. These keep in one the objective of proving out the resource and expanding the strike zone. I believe anything short of 15g/t is just suggesting continuity of the resource. The last release was actually better.

So I take that to mean expectations of a higher buy out price, but at a date that has been pushed further along the calander as they drill to continue to expand the strike zone until they hit bum results.

I would say so, but I think they are mutually exclusive. Yes to higher buyout, and yes there will be continued drilling, but fingers crossed it will not be done by Laurion.
