Friend of a friend rumours???

Just curious if anyone else gets the "my friend who knows someone who knows someone there says things are happening"  I have heard this that someting is in the works, but I feel like this is also this type of industry where there are always these "rumours" and does anyone actually know someone who knows something?  Again, I have heard something is very much in the works and will hear something very soon, but have no validated source, just someone who says they know something?  Anyone else hear the same thing?

you are asking a fourm for gossip and rumors to confirm your gossip and rumors? lol....  you will get nothing to firm up your assumptions here. if you would like to hear, my friend group is a buzz with THIS IS IT!  lol ... but they were saying the same things last year too.... sooo

Yes, but nothing is substantiated. There's signals that could mean something, but those signals could just as easily mean nothing. It's all hype, which seems to happen every year just before the AGM.

I've always heard that LME will be aquired when optimum shareholder value can be achieved.  This timetable is the primary consideration, not individual investor financial needs. So we wait.

And the price likely wont be offered till the gold price flies. Which it has not.

I don't agree with that at all NoRealPlan. I am sure that a deal with a price has already been made. The impact of the gold price is on the price paid per GEO, which would be one element in the pricing. The gold will be extracted over many years, so the gold price that would be factored into the price per GEO would have to be based on an EXPECTATION of the average future price over many

Just hope its not a "grass is greener" scenario where there are multiple passed opportunities thinking a more "optimum" scenario occurs
