Frustrated with reality

This can be pumped all you want but it's clearly been and currently still is getting dumped. If you're looking to add I recommend staying level headed and just waiting cause in all honesty I think it's going back to .35 . Would love to be proven wrong... I guess if you're long and a buyout does occur this won't mean anything, just a bump in the road.

Oh this will trade between .35 and .70 imo until a Bo occurs. It's not going to pump over $1 anymore after the last couple fake outs.  Longs win in the end.

Having seen the term used a number of times now I think it's a good opportunity to make a very clear distinction between Laurion and a pump and dump mining stock. To be sure, those are real things.   As much as investors would like to think every company is on the up and up there are definitely small cap stocks that are prompted and sold cyclically. That said, those schemes involve ...more

Well said Steve!  with a lot of people thinking we are going back down to 0.35... when you say it enough it almost becomes a self fulfilling propechy. People think we're heading there and they accept that so they sell out at 0.50 to be the first person out the door before the next leg down hopping for a cheap re-entry. I've said this before... it works until it doesn't.  ...more

To add to what Steve said, just keep in mind that if LME wanted to "pump", all they would have to do would be to release some resource estimates and this stock would soar to $10+ easily.. However, as previously discussed, for strategic reasons, they dont want to do that.

Hi Matlas, Do you (or anyone else know) if there are other junior miners who were aquired who chose this approach to not release their resource estimates?  Perhaps Steve can give some more clarity.  I understand their position thinking it could put a limit potentially on the value, but to me it still doesn't really add up?  She made a goal of proving 10 Mil, and made that ...more

Newbie- I cannot comment on your question about other miners, but I will comment on what I believe is the real reason for not releasing resource estimates. I don't buy the argument about limiting potentially on value. As I have stated previously on several occasions, I believe it is because they dont want to have a situation where members of the F&F group cash out their shares before a ...more

Interesting, I didnt know there was a "hostile takeover" attempt several years ago.

Let's just be realistic for a second here.   With the general sentiment on this site of how LME is progressing and the echo-chamber that seems to permiate here, if this thing doesn't sell by EOY, I have no doubt that the SP will dip very low, possibly sub-$0.30.

Can't say you are wrong JoJo. Let's hope we don't have to find out. They still have about 2 months for that.

Sorry Steve, I guess I should have used my words better. I know it was not literally a pump and dump scam, and I still hold all the shares I owned. I just was reacting to share price in comparison to last 2 weeks of trading, and this boards sentiment getting a little too hot, some comments by some people being way too opinion based without facts to back it up (eg. Price estimations) .  ...more

No one really knows. People will continue to post anything here to limit panic. People will post pictures to calm some people down. I've own this stock for over 3 years now and i've been waiting since. The way i see it is, as long as you dont sell, youre not losing a penny. If you can afford to hold on for as long as it takes, then do it... maybe this is the year, maybe not.
