To Steve - How to Improve Next Years AGM
Hey Steve, sorry people were briefly out for blood last week. This was my second AGM and there were a few frustrating aspects that I hope can be improved on for the next AGM (while hoping there will be no need to attend a third). Last years AGM felt so much more proffesionally run. Perhaps this is because there is so much going on behind the scenes and the meeting is a formality. While in the long run, the tech issues have no impact on the GEOs, I imagine I wasn't the only one that got a bit nervous watching a company I'm invested knee deep in have difficulty running a Zoom meeting.
Starting late - If I'm not mistaken the meetting started 5-10 minutes late.
Muting and unmuting - There was a lot of noise at the start. A lot of people came in and were not muted and did not mute for a long time. Looked a bit unproffesional. Also when we got to Q&A I was going to ask a question but could NOT unmute my mic due to some setting fo the meeting.
Ignoring the chat - several people made constructive comments in the chat and were ignored. There were questions in the chat that were not addressed.
View of Slideshow - The camera angle was an odd choice. The feed screen was about 1/3 of the ceiling and the slideshow was so far away it was impossible to read. Last year the slideshow was projected onto the meeting feed. It was a better set up.

2 scrutineers at every AGM for companies listed on the Exchange. Yup. That's standard. They take the names of all attendees.
