If the report came out yesterday and is good and whats needed for buyout to happen why is share price not going up?

As a general trend, miners as a whole have been beaten down this year. So people take good.news as a good time to sell. Also the report wasn't good or bad. More just business as usual. Stating the work done till 2022 was done correctly.

Can I ask you and others who have asked this, but why the need for the stock price to go up? It keeps getting mentioned and asked. My question to you is, why does it need too? The stock price is doing what it needs to.
