Wall

Wondering why and who this constant wall is by at .45c.  Could it be a friend of family selling their shares that they bought in at a low low price.  Seems weird its contantly held there?
Comment by Jimo82 on Feb 22, 2024 10:41am
Share price won't move until the Bid's outweigh the Ask. Still to many people selling. Need a wave of buying.
Comment by newbie8484 on Feb 22, 2024 10:47am
was just curious if that wall was always by the same seller? brokerage?
Comment by Thebluestroy on Feb 22, 2024 10:55am
im sure someone can find out, however, its really easy to manipulate the sp here with such a low daily volume.... for $10-20k you can smack a wall down anyday
Comment by GoGoWings on Feb 22, 2024 10:58am
serious buyer woudnt want tha price goin up
Comment by Toddsquad on Feb 22, 2024 9:02pm
...maybe this is it.   Burmi selling shares,  on a drip, to keep the SP in check ....  But excusing my ignorance, why would a prospective buyer want the SP low?  Seems to me that current (artificially low) SP would have little impact on the BO value. Perhaps Burmi does NOT need the money, perhaps he selling on a drip for other reason(s)?
Comment by newbie8484 on Feb 22, 2024 9:35pm
If it would be for other reason, such as to make the company look more attractive for an aquisition, etc, would this still not be a form of insider trading if this was the case? He is free to sell his shares if he needs the funds etc, but he is doing it to manipulate the stock price, would this not be insider trading? I guess how would one prove that though. Realistically he knows more then we all ...more

Cynthia doesn't read Stockhouse, Reddit or any other site; so don't wait for a answer. Or as someone had suggested last week, hold your breathe then let us know when she actually makes a statement.
Comment by Bracko on Feb 22, 2024 10:02pm
I will say it again I believe she does read these posts and so does Roger and the rest of them , why is this the only forum that has a PR person on it like Steve and now Doug how come they are not on any other fourms .

Newbie - looks like you were on to something.  Here are the transactions of the board member selling.  All around the mid 40s.  Transactions all reported today (Feb 22), but took place over Feb 12, Feb 14, Feb 16, Feb 20 and Feb 21. When will we break through the wall at $0.45?  That's up to the insiders to decide.
Comment by LTMG2500 on Feb 22, 2024 6:05pm
So we're just gonna have our top dog on the committee selling shares every week? I could buy that he needed a chunk of cash hence the big sale block at lower than market value of .42 cents. But we just have to accept this guys slow trickle of sales every week? If he's in a position that he needs Cash so badly in his personal life is he the financial representative we want in the board room ...more

Ahsineeg, are you suggesting that the insiders are holding the price down? If so, what would the reason be fore this?
Comment by ahsineeg on Feb 22, 2024 6:50pm
Factually Burmi is holding down the price.  Clearly he is selling and happy to do so in the mid 40s.  I was merely commenting on a post from someone earlier in the week wondering why the price is stuck in the mid 40s? "Wondering why and who this constant wall is by at .45c.  Could it be a friend of family selling their shares that they bought in at a low low price.  Seems ...more

Burmi started off with 10 million shares and has been selling off since 2021 now holds only 1.3 million shares . Why is he still on the special committee, and a board member when he is liquidated all of his holdings  You can see it on CEO.ca under Sedi insider filings  Or I'm reading it wrong, but in my eyes it's in black and white right there . Still holding on but makes me ...more

He still holds all 10mill shares in his numbered company to this day. He hasn't sold any of those. He's only been selling the shares in his personal name the last month and a half. But still begs the questions....wtf is going on like you said.
Comment by Thebluestroy on Feb 22, 2024 7:43pm
Truly odd. However, in the event of acquisition, even jf he still holds half the original holding (10m shares) the dudes still won lotto max so I'm sure he doesn't care at all and may need quick funds. But still so annoying.  there's a reason we have one of the most active junior mining stockhouse pages I've ever seen...always something happening, always.

Updated Wednesday May 19, 2021 03:34 AM EDT Harminder Burmi, a Director, disposed of 8,000,000 Common Shares on a direct ownership basis at a price of $0.140 through a private transaction on May 17th, 2021. Bracko - he had 20 million shares at one point  (10 million shares + 10 million warrants he exercised). Now he down to 1.265 million shares.

Geeze. No good.
Comment by LTMG2500 on Feb 22, 2024 7:59pm
Does anyone believe he's done selling? Nothing would suggest that. I get that we all have times where we need a chunk of cash but what's really going on here? Does this need for cash potentially conflict with his role on the special committee? Ideally you'd see some stability in that position with regards to shares. It's not like the selling was totally transparent from the start ...more

His holdings have been clarified the last time we went through this. It was clarified that he has another 10 million in a Holdco.
Comment by DouglasGVass on Feb 22, 2024 11:11pm
This is correct Soldsign. Burmi is still a significant shareholder. I cannot speak to his decision to sell shares in the last month but I know that he has every right to buy or sell shares just like the rest of us. Selling 6% of his shares isn't alarming. Cynthia, John, Roger  and Nick still hold their shares and remember that LME has one of the highest F&F holdings percentage in the ...more
Comment by GoldBelt on Feb 22, 2024 11:25pm
Your statement is inacurate. Burmi did not sell 6% of his shares.  Check SEDI, at 2021-5-18, he had 10 million shares, now his balance is 1.3M shares. It is alarming retail shareholders when the person who is on the special committee, privy to insider inforamtion and reviewing any potential disposition is not holding onto shares, not accumulating more shares, but in fact selling ALOT.
Comment by Golden7777 on Feb 23, 2024 8:15am
Not surprised at all.  I'm starting to get used to this sort of nonsense.  Back to saying nothing so I don't upset certain sensitive persons on this board

Hey Doug something with the friends and family ownership isn’t adding up to me and I hope you can help me understand. You said in the last two years less than 0.5% of fandf holdings were sold. Fandf ownership dropped substantially over the last year. At the beginning of 2023 we had roughly 263,000,000 (I am slightly rounding to even numbers for simplicity sake) shares fully diluted at fandf ...more

Lambo - According to a post on reddit, Insiders/Friends/Family have decreased their total share count by 20 million shares.  In July 2022 Insiders had about 208 million shares and by January 2024 they had 189 million shares.   Will repost what was on reddit here. How can we as shareholders have confidence in this company ...which is apparently up for sale, has hired financial advisers which will NOT be paid if there's no deal, formed a special committee where one member has sold off most of his shares!?   if I had to pay off debts knowing that I'd be making MULTIPLES of the current stock price, I'd get a  credit line, second or third ...more
