How many GEO's?

Is anyone else pulling their hair out thinking about how many GEO's LME has?

How many are proven and how many are inferred?

Did they keep expanding the strike zone because they are still shy of their 10 mill target or is there such an abundance of gold and other precious metals that they've surpassed these targets and matlas' $30.00 price target is not as insane as we think?

He recently posted in reddit saying he believes a BO coming middle of May and $30.00/share is on the lower end of the spectrum and this really got my hopes back up to when I first bought in years ago.

Has LME done enough drilling to prove the 10 million GEO's or will the majority of the minerals be considered inferred?

Are there other ways of proving GEO's that do not involve producing an MRE?

How is there such range of $2 to $10 to $30 and beyond. Someone has to be able to figure this out. Too much of a range.

No offence to the anonymous posters on this board, but I will let Cynthia figure it out!

Because those that say $2 are not the brightest bulbs or at least lack the ability to do any DD on their own. Calculating a Buyout number is fairly straight forward in that you multiply $300/ounce times the number of GEO’s and divide by the number of shares.  10 million x $300US / 265 million = $11/share US or $15 Cdn 15 million x $300us / 265 million = $17/share US or $22.75 Cdn Do dumb ...more

Thanks for providing those that haven't grasped this formula yet, it's unfortunate that they haven't figured this out yet.  I would argue that there could be a premium to $300/geo for being in a mining friendly jurisdiction, close to power and water, near good infrastructure, highways, etc.  Perhaps it will be $350-$400/geo or more.
Comment by GoldenBull999 on May 13, 2024 4:54pm
Does it get less likely that an all cash transaction occurs as the potential GEOs increases? with some of these calculations were talking anywhere from 3-8 billion USD if we indeed hit 10m GEOs + ... I know someone posted cash reserves of majors a few months back but it seems like a LOT of cash.

GoldenBull999, May we point out that a key factor to your thinking that a buyer will deplete there cash reserves to purchase LME may be flawed.  Finance. And not at the rates you and I pay.  That’s all; no company will use their own cash, you didn’t (maybe I’m wrong) buy your car or your home by walking in with as suitcase of cash. Neither will the buyer; they will not lose their ...more

Makes sense!

I think it would come down to how much is indicated, inferred, etc.  If it was all indicated/proven, then maybe you might see $400/GEO, but I would think they need to do a whole lot more drilling for that.
