Gogo wings - Two bucks

Hey gogo wings,

you keep saying $2 buyout which seems reasonable to me based on current sp.  if LME dropped a PR tomorrow and announced a deal at $2.00 buyout.

would that $2.00 be usd or can?

I feel like I've seen articles on here that give examples of cdn junior's being bought out and I feel like the deals are always referenced in American dollars  ...yet the company is traded on the Canadian market.   I'm probably confused

LMe long, hoping for a Matlas 30, ...but a gogo 2 is still a win.  ...especially in usd

Comment by GoGoWings on May 20, 2024 11:58pm
Deal aint gonna be priced like the guesses here based on $$$$$$/ounce, GEOS and sh*t real dealz are a multiple of share price eg - 4x SP = $1.80 CDN USD aint a factor
Comment by Twiggie on May 21, 2024 8:14am
It kind of is a factor. $1.80 CAN x amount of shares I own or $1.80 USD x amount of shares I own makes a big difference due to the exchage rate.  With todays exchange rate for example, $1.80 USD is $2.45 CAN. I like that better.... No one seems to know this answer CharlieBaba. Lets hope its a USD deal. Especially if the sell price is going to be that low.  Its crazy to me that there ...more

What hype are you seeing? It's entirely possible that the SH and Reddit post activity is shared among a group of ~15-20 shareholders who've been hoping and waiting for a long time now. But beyond this group is there any real awareness or hype? I'm not sure that any interest in LME goes beyond a small group of F&F. Do you see otherwise?
Comment by GoldenBull999 on May 21, 2024 9:04am
There is 0 hype. 0 awareness and they are quite happy to keep it that way.  Same approach has been taken with all the drilling too. Small drill programs slowly over way too many years, trodding through the mud prospecting year after year after year. No one in the public knows about this opportunity and never will. And no one who owns a lot of this already is buying anymore (enough to increase ...more

I sure dont see otherwise. Lots of other juniors doing well n doublin or even tripling over the last few months... this thing sits like a stick in the mud.... optimal shqreholder value.. shoulda bought ANYTHING else n woulda made money.. even meme stocks got another tear.

the problem with drama ridden, high insider stocks. There are definitely unhappy insiders and I don't foresee this going well beyond July for management..A couple of decades unchallenged, timeline for m&a stated in 2018 as 3-5 years...were passed that now.... directors offloading shares.....no shareholder value......dilution.....small drill programs......I could compile a list of 100 ...more

With all this $2 talk, I think a buyer would be getting this complany for a steal. I dont understand why Cynthia and team doesnt publicly promote and hype up this property. Drive the stock price up and make a buyer pay more then $2!!!!! There seems to be so much more value in the company then $2.  I very much agree that this is not optimal shareholder value.  Agreed--We need a bit more ...more

Good day All.   Folks, this is are getting a little crazy with the comments here.   Who better to be running this company than someone who has a lot of skin in the game.  Really, a Management change at this stage of the game? Sure bring in new management, pay them big bucks and they keep taking their salary until the bank account runs dry, then make a great deal. Or ...more

100% dont disagree with the positives on paper, but they lead to precisely 0 from a public share price perspective and reality. You would think the SP would be indicative of all of these great positives you mention.  Im more concerned with the EMOTIONAL attachment Cynthia and management may have to the property which could derail negotiations. People tend to value things well above what is ...more

To clarify, I'm long. Haven't sold a share and won't. But there are some questions I have.  where has Steve gone? Would it have been in the agreement that he can't post after leaving his PR role? Considering he's very knowledgable and a shareholder, I find it a bit strange he doesn't pop up on here at all?  after Matlas spoke with Roger, he had a meltdown. He ...more

TraderRC You have made so many great points in your post. What everyone needs to realize is that you have a "choice."  You can decide to buy or sell shares in LME or any other publicly traded stock. That is the beauty of investing in the stock market. Over 3 million LME shares have traded over the last two weeks so there has been more than enough liquitity to sell shares if you ...more

Some of this is good some of it is bs.    "My point is that in the last 4-7 years LME has been one of the top performing juniors in the gold sector."  wrong. 4-7 years ago lme WAS one of the top preforming juniors... since then it has been up and down yes but the majority of people here are down... the last three year ...more

I stand corrected. What I meant to say was the stock has traded up and down for the last 3 years but if you had bought shares 4+ years ago LME is a top performing junior. MOST junior miners in the last 3 years have dropped in value over 50-70%. How do I know this? I hold shares in over 40 junior miners and have watched their performance for the last 5 years. All I can tell you is I'm glad I ...more

I think there is also additional pressure due to the very nature of our once great nation. This country and every citizen are being decimated financially already and it adds fuel to the fire...and tbh I think it's going to get much worse before it gets better.   I know we all need to put in what we can afford to lose but when rumours swirl, friends of friends, all that nonsense you get ...more

Personally, I think the timing is perfect. (that is if a deal is reasonably close) 2 years ago, gold was around $1750-1800.  Would you have rather had LME make the deal back then?  What about only 4 months ago, when it was hovering around $2k?  What would you think if she made the deal around Christmas 2023 and then you saw gold go up 20%?  I realize that they're trying to ...more

Oh I agree that the timing right now is perfect (and another driver of people getting frustrated).  Personally I would have taken a 3-4x deal 6-8 months ago vs waiting 2 years for a 5-10x.  I'm not married to this company, it's merely a path to accumulate more wealth and further diversify the portfolio with other investments.   Could have made 25% on Ethereum yesterday alone ...more

In your investing resume how many times have you happily taken 3-4x deal and invested that profit to beat a 5-10 X likely win? 6-8 months ago we were right about where we are now so 3-4 x .50 =$1.5-2 x 10000 = 15-20k Reinvested in something and made 25% = 18-25K  If it sells in the year or two at 5-10 (Very low number) you see 2.3-4.55 x 10000 = 23-45500 IF you turn 25%, you loose ...more

GoGo, No one on this forum takes your "calculations and assessments" as anything worthwhile and you have no idea what you're talking about. Your grammar and English speaks to your ability to think critically about prices and your math is mental.

I agree with his assessments.  ...well I'm least open to them.     A - it's a more practical buyout price, compared to the current share price.  I'd like the Matlas $40 like everyone else, but.... B - it's in line with rumours that I'm hearing.  That being said, my source is the same guy who told my buddy a deal was done back in 2022.   Back ...more

But it's not a practical buyout price. He based his numbers from the 43-101 which only values gold in the initial iskoday core zone. The does not value the other precious metals and doesn't value any of the expanded zones. Then he cut the price in half "because that's how deals work" . 5 dollars is a more realistic buyout price if you don't "cut the price in half ...more

Hey everyone - a simple internet search will show you that our old friend Steve Hunter is now employed as a Branch Manager at Richardson Wealth - a CIRO registrant. We won't be hearing from him again on here or any kind of stock discussion board as long as that remains his employment status. Doug is doing a great job reinforcing what we need to know and telling us what little he can.
