Twin Falls Theory

Who else has been pondering the strategy involving Twin Falls and how it aligns with a potential transaction?

The PR stating they acquired it (for $100,000 worth of shares) was from mid October last year. They formed the special committee and hired USCG in August who have since completed their due diligence review process which obviously doesn't include whatever lays beneath the Twin Falls.

Would a bidder want confirmaiton of whether or not there is mineralizaiton contiguous with the Ishkoday at the Twin Falls, or is it more likely that an offer would have been made strictly for the Ishkoday? Will exploring and drilling the Twin Falls be a key factor to the $$ value of a potential deal? Could Laurion sell off the Ishkoday and keep exploring the Twin Falls?

Curious to hear your theories.

The message I read from LME is they want to sell.  Not sell a part and keep a part.  So my assumption and guess to your question is they will sell all together.  And of course confirmation of extension of mineralization in the tiwn falls will help, as the opposite will hurt LME. LME has done enough of a baseline on Ishkoday,  so they are moving onto the unknown in hopes they ...more

So you're saying it's likely a buyer would want Twin Falls as part of the package. Understood. The main question is: to what extent will Laurion drill this area before a transaction occurs, if the entire Ishkoday will require more drilling anyways? Does it make sense for Laurion to do a whole drilling campaign here? If so, expect nothing until next year..
Comment by Wmaver on Jul 03, 2024 1:01pm
i am saying LME doesn't want to hold anything at the end of the transaction, regardless as to what the buyer might want.   This is their END GAME,  not middle game. whoever buys the claims will likely have to invest milltions in drilling, then build a mine or sell it to someone else now that the have "proven" what LME was unable to prove. but you are right,  if ...more

She's gonna keep exploring and drilling till the firm offer is in hand. Ziibi and Twin Falls are being explored now and will get a late fall/winter drill plans.  The value will keep going up as gold continues to climb. There has to be interest. I think gold will be at $2500 by Mid August and $2800 by year end and some have crazier numbers than that. The SP might not be climbing, but ...more

I don't use LinkedIn, but Cynthia posted on LinkedIn last week a 'new' quartz vein discovery next to a freshly logged area? I believe they are exploring in the twin falls area now.

Discovery of a Large Quartz Vein Adjacent to a New Logging Road and Open Cut on Twin Falls, Ishkday - TSX.V : LME OTC : LMEFF While prospecting along a new logging road and logged area, approximately 188 meters northwest of several old Noranda Trenches from the 80s, we discovered a 50-meter-wide mineralized zone hosted in intermediate to felsic volcanics. The acquisition of the Twin Falls property was a strategic move to expand the Ishkoday to 57sq km. The Twin Falls is a highly prospective project and will be included in any deal.  This acquisition was a very important move to add value to shareholders. Don't forget that the previous owners took shares in LME as partial payment.

Hey Doug, I know you aren't privy to any M&A information but was wondering what your personal opinion/beliefs are in regards to LME timeline and being acquired. Do you think it happens when we get the results back from the fall drill program or do you think it will happen in the near future?
Comment by LTMG2500 on Jul 04, 2024 11:20am
To be fair to Doug even if he isn't privy to M&A information there is no way he could answer a question this specific as a representative of LME. We may have to adjust our expectations as to what Doug can and cannot say.

.....Doug, do you think Connor McDavid will retire this year?  Possibly next year? ...or do you think he has two years or more left in him still?

Might not get re-signed if he can't hoist the cup next season
Comment by DouglasGVass on Jul 05, 2024 10:19am
You are correct. I am not privy to any M&A talks so I cannot provide timelines or estimates. My opinion has always been that LME is a highly speculative stock with huge potential.

I think at this time, it's safe to say that any disposition is on hold as deal metrics or prices weren't agreed by both parties. Diligence is done, hurdles jumped through and over, bascially it all comes down to price. PE wants it cheap as possible and Sellers want maximum value for shareholders.  Makes sense the team is back in the field for prospecting, exploration and most likely ...more

Lavar's gold rallies with director buying up stock options  Plus there last  drill results that were just as good  as LME! Lme goes down with ceo buying stock options  and with the latest great drill results! Lavars gold ,broke 2 dollars up 50 cents from last week! LME  no movement at all down from last week !

The problems stem from the way this company has its share structure. Obviously with 80%+ being held by insiders and the complete lack of wanting to spend a penny on marketing and pr to get the word out there no one will care. Anyone who's invested was lured with the "friends of friends" nonsense. And we already had 1 deal fall through and several pump and dump spikes. It's a ...more

i just really hope they are not still pushing the ALL CASH deal still and are realistic about what they are asking for and what any major is willing to do. i am pretty damn this property is worth more than the share price right now but i don't want the upper management to be too bullish on their price for a deal when in reality there is a lot more to be drilled before this can be up and ...more

The problem is, this is likely what's happening and it will continue to happen as long as they have all the insiders on their side. We can do nothing. The sp should be at least $1+ right now even before any sort of acquisition takes place.  Maybe in the next 6 months we'll find out something about uscg and whatever they're doing with them.

Sure seems there is no end to the amount of shares people are willing to trade below .40. Another embarrassing week.

I believe you are a university educated person. All SH people be careful of Go Go post. He is a very smart person. Knows just when to play your last nerve to fill his pockets with bonanza gold.
