Forgot this equally related point..

Boyle  was hired by Dundee to effect this acquisition of Reunion with Gmin.
Dundee made a small fortune from the market cap explosion of Gmin.

Dundee is the majority owner of Maritime.
Dundee has $100s of millions in forward tax loss pools.

NFG has no forward tax loss pools.

Dundee will make another small fortune if NFG acquired MAE.

Will Keith Boyle pull the same trigger with MAE and NFG .....

If a company is literally sitting on a Gold mine then it's worth a lot to a major. In these low priced markets those with cash can pick and choose. But any company sitting on easily recoverable resources is always worth more with or without a mill to those with the expertise and cash to mine it. Majors need to bolster there reserves.
