Fear.  The Mexican guvernmrnt is seizing US-owned energy assets and Biden admin is doing nothing to stop it.

Okay, so retail investors fear that the Mexican energy asset grab will spill over to a commodity grab. Even assuming this thinking is accurate, the Mexican govt is sending a statement to US govt. MAI is Canadian owned, has a lengthy history (and presumably strong contacts) with Mexican government, and is not an energy play. We have a definitive answer re: extraordinary volume and sp weakness: Osisko (insider) sold 7.6m+ shares.
