Differential between APH and Nuu

Hey guys, I have noticed that Nuu seems to be trading at a 5% or more discount from the value inherent in the Aphria purchase. Anyone notice that? Has anyone switched their holdings from APH to NUU to take advantage of this?

Funny you should write this...I had the same thoughts last night and found this: "Under the terms of the deal, Nuuvera shareholders will receive $1 in cash plus 0.3546 of an Aphria share for each share they hold. Based on Aphria's 10-day volume weighted average price of $21.15, the offer is worth $8.50 per share." Basically when you take aph sp x 0.3546 + $1 = nuu sp ...more or ...more

So it does seem it trades at a higher value.  Does that mean you get less that the current nuu sp if true.  I would say yes.  Best to make sure your on the right side of the fence they do consolidate.  Anyone know why nuu total daily trading volumes are so small.  Sure makes it hard to trade.  As a trading rule I generally stay away from stocks with a low  daily& ...more

This is pretty frustrating. So Nuuvera management decided to buyout avanti and because of this Aphria lowers the value it is going to pay for Nuu shares. why would management decide to do this now knowing that by doing it they lower the return to Nuu shareholders. Doesn't this mean that Aphria thinks that Nuu is overpaying for Avanti? hence the reduction in the purchade price. something is ...more

continuing from my precious post.... Buy has 80M share o/s, so Aphria is reducing cash consideration by 32m because of this deal. Aphria believes this deal for Avanti reduces Mum's value by 32m. Given the deal is to Buy Avanti for 43M does that mean that Aphria believes that Nuu should only be paying 11M for Avanti? And that Nuu is overpaying by 32m? What is going on here? feel like Nuu ...more

This looks like a solid explanation. https://www.reddit.com/r/TheCannalysts/comments/7yzfu5/the_big_5_martini_bar_february_20_2018/ At the time of offer, Nuuvera had: ~89 million basic shares outstanding (includes the financing) ~8 million of in-the-money options and warrants total: rounds up to 98 million fditm s/o cash and equivalents post-financing of ~$90-92million  ...more
