What is the break up fee?
In the CMED/HIP deal, HIP was driven from 50 cents to over $3 on the take over. After CMED cancelled the deal, HIP dropped back down to below $1.
In looking at NUU, wasn't the pre-deal trading price the 80 cents? At what price would NUU fall to if APH walked away and what are the break up provisions?
I hate to bring ACB in the equation here but ACB is a big "growth by acquisition" player. I can certainly see them making a hostile bid for APH since APH is a low cost producer with lots of rec readty inventory at only $2B on the condition they drop the NUU expensive $800M merger as they did with CMED.
Interesting times!

The 80 cents was the shell, the empty garage from the last market pillage and rape. Do some research on that front. And note, Canaclown is all over this....

Don't know where you get your 80 cents from but Nuuvera IPO was at 2.50$ and once it started trading on TSX was around 6$ avg... Never went below 5.50$ before the deal.

My mistake... The first day it opened at 6.75$ the high was 7.50$ the low 5.03$ and it closed at 5.96$. So the lowest it went before the deal was 5.03$.
