Method, no its good to clear out supply just sad to see what some are selling at, it shows me that there aren't many that have confidence in MAKO as a company in my opinion....

That's the opportunity isn't it? The controlling shareholder does have confidence, is buying more and can perform corporate actions to realize the value. I can see given you are an efficient market proponent that maybe you think the sellers know more or just as much as the controlling shareholder buyer?

Method, i think we will have to agree to disagree on MAKO, as far as i'm concerned this is a Wexford company and i wouldn't be surprised to see it taken private....i wish you all the best with your investments....

I don't think anyone has any interest in taking it private. There is too much optionality in staying public especially if the cost of capital comes down and M&A ramps up. Except for a small SILJ ownership, no one has to own Mako. Becsuse there are no promoters, it doesn't get the boost that newsletter writers associated with the promoters can provide so it's not exciting for most

apart from MAKO i don't hold any Gold stocks and i will sell those if we can achieve $2. only have a few stocks left in my SIPP (private pension). Traded (high risk high reward) stocks for over 25 years but now just invest/trade in my pension....looking to cash out in 2 years will be 75 then so i have had enough...LOL

I guess gold is always 2 years away from making a big move. The conditions now are the best I have seen in the 25 years I have been speculating on gold stocks.

I don't think his position was ever that big and I think he sold a while ago.

Oddly enough it wasnt sarcasm this time. Any exposure is great whether its positive or negative. Just like a negative review on a restaurant. People will go and  find out for themselves and have their own opinions.

You give people too much credit. There are not that many active investment dollars chasing way too many opportunities. You might think telling everyone Mako is a terrible investment is helping but it more likely just makes them pick something universally liked instead.  I'm pretty sure 99% of people treat restaurant reviews the same way.
