RE: google link, and mine permit

Hi All, Farmland??? LOL

I have given up on trying to post the mine permit for Bays Hollow. So I have a link from the Kentucky Mines so that you all can down load it yourself and compare it to the google earth view. The permit can only be downloaded in the next 7 days. The link might expire???? This is the original copy of the 1989 permit for Bays Hollow. I am not implying that this is the permit eventually transfered to NAG, it is just a confirmation of where BAYS Hollow mine is located. Enlarge it and you can see Tyes Ferry Road, the seam locations as well as the permitted areas.
Note the cross slashes to indicate the areas containing the Blue Gem and Jellico seams.
Save it to your desktop and then open the middle file.
Please someone post if it works..

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. The permit was just 1 of 4 that I had located pertaining to the Bays Hollow mine. Permits over time can change numbers as well as ownership. It is the location of Bays Hollow Mine that has been verifed by the permit and I just referenced it to google earth to obtain it's location and the road that was in question is also seen. As I had posted earlier, the high wall is also ...more

About the google map link that I had provided only gives the exact location where Bays Hollow is found ( select terrain). You have to launch a Google Earth application to get a 3d view which the map application does not provide.Wallywill
