Goldstd69, I've had some success with timing / trading relatively small amounts of my various holdings - don't get me wrong, it doesn't always work out for me, and I've only starting doing this over the past year. What I've started to accept is that buy and hold doesn't necessarily work any more. I've learned that there is nothing wrong with capturing actual gains. But
