Drilling not yet reported

The extract below, which is taken from the 6th July PR, shows that only 55% of meters drilled have been reported to date (34,200m/61,700m).

A key limiting factor seems to be lab progressing before the backlog can be cleared. However, subsequently, two more drill rigs have been added to the 8 that were already turning at the time of the 6 July PR.

In order to identify and prioritise highly prospective drill cores to go to the labs, could it be that drill cores that do not visibly disclose high grade ore, are being put to the back of the line, thereby resulting in an ever growing percentage of unreported drill cores?

July 6th PR
200,000m Drill Campaign Update

A total of 267 holes totaling approximately 61,700 meters of drilling has been completed to date, representing approximately 31% of the planned 200,000m program.  Results for 150 holes totaling approximately 34,200m have been received and reported to date. Eight rigs are currently turning, with a ninth on site and tenth to arrive by Q3 2021.

It may do and then again probably not. Of particular interest is how deep and wide Keats goes, so getting those assays prioritised would be a priority. The NFG guys haven't  held back on much to date and with a NYSE listing coming up, why risk playing games with seasoned players. There is a lot more gold found to date in their targets than anyone could have imagined

JR makes an interesting point. Say you have dozens of drill cores, all of which could be sent to the lab. Do companies pick and choose which portions of which cores are sent to the lab first? If so, a company could theoretically send only those portions or cores exhibiting the most visible gold first, as chances are these portions are more likely to produce the best assay results of the lot ...more

The partnership will see MSALABS deploy at least six PhotonAssay units across the globe over the next 18 months. The first unit will be installed at Barrick Gold’s (TSX: ABX; NYSE: GOLD) Bulyanhulu mine in Tanzania, and the companies will then commission three more units in Africa and a further two in Canada by mid-2022. https://www.canadianminingjournal.com/news/partnership-to-deliver-better ...more

Raffles they would have better luck with QH thru Novo that has secured a lot of tests on two of the machines. Don't think they can do it as of yet no matter how bad they want it. This is just too new technology that needs to prove out reliability. As to your other suggestion you have no idea. Tony Makuch has has burr under his saddle ever since ES had over a billion bucks worth of KL. They ...more

Thanks Ike! That was my read on the situation too.  KL was not happy with ES giving credit to QH...so, that's how that cookie crumbled. eld

As I have bob Moriarty's book "What became of the Crow", I am fully aware of the problematic relationships between ES and QH and TM. Notwithstanding any complications regarding the above:- ES appointed TM as CEO of KL, when TM was CEO of the failing Tahoe Resources. ES is still likely to be a major shareholder in KL and any of his reasonable representations ought to be ...more

Well you would think that TM would take care of KL shareholders best interest but as ike pointed out he wouldn't cough up a measly one million dollars to maintain their 20% in Eskay Mining's Golden Triangle property. Not a smart move in my opinion. I think he will regret that decision big time. These guys at the top like TM have big egos and it's all about them. It was a ...more
