Mystery

I have given this a lot of thought. We waited eagerly for the seismic report that was delayed for months. A company that put out news releases constantly went silent. Discussions of toll milling went silent. What little of the seismic that was released can’t be interpreted by most here and for all intents and purposes remains a mystery. We do know they are drilling and in some cases deep, using seismic info. Are they onto something big! It would explain all of this mystery.

I believe they will drill to depth and find more high grade at depth like the geology suggests the siemic will help guide them to similar showings rather than the blind wildcat drilling to date that has been successful but going deeper cost more so a little help doesn't hurt .I continue to buy the dips To be honest was hoping for a bigger dip but a line seems to been drawn on the low side at 4 ...more

They had 14 drills creating results,  now they have 4.  They were doing shallow drilling, now they are they doing deep drilling.  The number of press releases has declined accordingly. Toll milling is way in the future. Only a PDAC prelimiary snapshot of the seismic survey has been released.  The full report will be published when it is ready. There is no mystery.  ...more

If the deep drilling identifies more of the same width high grade veins found in the shallow drilling then this may not add much value, bearing in mind the cost of creating a shaft at great depth.   Therefore, it seems that the deep drilling goal is to identify a wide chamber which is the source of gold on the surface at Keats, Iceberg and the other surface high grade zones.   ...more

Orogenic gold does not come from a magma chamber.  It is metamorphic in origin and comes from 20+ km down.  The grand conduit was the Appleton fault which became a giant mess of faults towards the surface.  Gold precipitation was in a narrow depth band and is unlikely to extend down more than a few more kilometres. If they can extend iceberg to depth the costs of underground mining ...more

As I said before, are they on to something big? It would answer a lot of questions about their recent behaviour.

MYSTERY...wow...just love reading this stuff. Is that really the best you can come up with to keep the longs excited? Gold still holding nicely around 2100 and yet NFG has again drifted back down into the mid 4's (right in the middle of the rock solid trading range of 4 to 5 dollars).

it hasn't come close to your 3.25 prediction as we wait for results from the deep drilling that 2 rigs are employed to and two more rigs expanding existing known zones and 1 drilling in a new area  this fully funded drill program will determine the share prices future direction not any wild predictions by  a poster here
Comment by Evenkeel123 on Mar 25, 2024 7:15am
It hasn't come close to your 7.00 prediction as we wait for results of any kind that will likely drive the stock price lower as they spend spend spend, soon needing a financing........again. EK

Dixiedee...you want to be in the producers when gold is moving up. The high spec stocks in many cases will not even particapate in a rising gold price (as is the case lately with NFG). In the market you want to follow the the money and momentum (not sitting on your hands "hoping"  that your stock will open up huge one day)....as many on this NFG board are currently hoping for. At ...more

At the early stages of gold moving up your comments have merit but you don't invest in an exploration company because you think gold is going up you invest in an exploration company because of their potential with the drill bit and nfg has had enormous success to date and now everyone is waiting for results at depth the geology here suggests that the potential for the grades to get higher and ...more

NFG doing its thing today...falling as gold continues to move up. Buy a producer and make some money. Just pick one instead of hanging out in the "dead money". I can hardly wait to see how low NFG goes when gold pulls back.

condour1 if you have been in the gold space for along time or have been through a couple bull markets in gold you would know that most of the time but not always Gold bullion leads then large gold producers and royalty company's then the smaller producers and then the non producers for you to imply something is wrong because newfound gold is not up today just shows us how little you know about ...more
