Corporate Body Language = POINTS TO A BUYOUT.....

Body language is a form a communication that is done without words.  Usually you could tell if someone is happy, angry, frustrated, upset, hurt, etc...

There are just some reactions we all do to express an emotion.

Body language is not limited at a personal level, it also applies to a corporation.   For example:  in Bre-x, before the scandle broke out the head geoglist through himself to his death from a helicopter (or perhaps some investor through him).   In more recent example of a stock that is plunging we have Super Micro Computer Inc. (a darling until rumours of illegal accounting) - recently auditors walked away not wanting to be associated with accounting entries.  This speaks DOOM for the company.

So lets get back to NILI, to see change in corporate body language which can indicate to something deeper.

NILI had stated all year long, Graham interviews that PEA would be out in Q4-2024 (November, most likely).  He stated that they were rushing as they wanted this information out to proceed to year 2025 drilling.

Then we have MI-3 deal with NILI agreed to buy in order to house employees and put its equipment on the land for drilling purposes.

Finally we have their nickel property that NILI wanted to find a buyer and get a good price as they need funds to drill.

That was the plan.   But what is happening is different.

(a)  PEA is no longer in rush mode.  It is pushed out to Q1-2025.

(b)  MI-3 land is no longer needed for housing and equipment of NILI for year 2025 drilling.   Deal cancelled and new amendment to Q2-2025, if necessary.  No plans to vote on this deal.

(c)  Nickel property sold for pennis on the $$$, $ 200,000 just to get the liability off the books.

The actions represent corporate body language that something has changed.   The question is why the change?

We get a hint of the reason when Graham states

"We are certain of a deal with interested party".   Multiple parties are interested.

So this indicates some sort of material deal is in the works.

Then we have the icing on the cake which points to a BUYOUT.

In the last press release NILI stresses that there tests confirm that you can get 87% recovery or, 25% more lithium.  They give example of 4,100 ppm lithium to 5,200 ppm lithium.

We question why this last press release is IMPORTANT.

It would be materially important if you are negotiating a buyout and are trying to get the best possible price.   Hence buyer can get 25% more and therefore buyout is 25% higher.

For all these reasons, I think that there are two catalysts that will solidify the deal:

(a)  HARRIS Presidency, which will ensure that EV are the future and that DoD will give the buyer a $ 2.2 billion loan.

(b)  Plan of Operations being approved which gives green light to the project.

Less urgent is the PEA report but probably last item to closing the deal.

Good Luck,

All this talk of buyout?  Dood, the world has a lot of lithium out there...some deposits will realize development and others won't,....price of lithium will ultimately decide whether or not they are minable .....but there are many high quality lithium plays out there, and not just NILI.   I think NILI  has a great deposit but I certainly am not banking on a buyout

Fine, if buyout happens, then give the funds to charity to keep your word.  I would not want you to benefit from anything unexpected.  So much nonsense from posters who keep living in their minds as to how the world should operate.   Nothing would be discovered if such minds were running the world.  It is like a person marries a spouse, only to admire the  ...more

My illusionary mind ?   I doulbt there is a single investor in this world that counts on LADYBUGS to determine the type of investment to make ....let alone the timing.    You are on IGNORE !!!!!!

Good summary, I agree with you so far. But I think you're focusing too much on the quick deal. I think it's more likely to be about a sponsorship deal.  Graham said in an interview that he also plans to go public on the NASDAQ.  Then, as with LAC, get funding.  And there are still 60-80 wells planned, which will increase or double the value considerably.  Only ...more

Thanks for your imput.  It is constructive and different timeline which I do respect.  I agree with you that it could be after the PEA or even after the FS.  It all depends on who is interested in this property. This is how I see it if I were a MAJOR.   You want to acquire lithium property for your inventory pipeline.  The best time to acquire a good property is ...more
