No one will fund a project not permitted.

The Bureau of Land  Management has reviewed the Plan of Exploration and public comments will be accepted until January 19th. The decision on whether the plan will be approved should follow shortly.

Does anyone here really believe that they won't get a permit?

It is still a risk until they have it. Thacker has a lot of pushback.

The management spends a lot of time and money to achieve their goal. Graham, for example, owns millions of SURGE shares ... I can't imagine him investing so much money in his cause that shouldn't work.  So I assume this is just another step towards the next drilling program (more bureaucratic in nature)

Per the BLM letter to interested parties soliciting public comment....   "The project is site specific...with no anticipated significant environmental impacts...." I am quite certain that the permit will be issued.
