Hydrogen debate

The talk about green hydrogen is ongoing. Being cost competitive with hydrogen produced from natural gas is the issue. However,  if an overseas market develops, it will be for green hydrogen (windpower or hydro). Juergen Puetter, who developed B.C.’s first wind farm, is already trying to build Canada’s first large electrolyzer plant. His Renewable Hydrogen Canada proposal in northeastern B.C. would use wind power to produce hydrogen from water.--B.C. ideally positioned to develop a $15 billion hydrogen industry: study - JWN Energy

Oil and gas giant BP said “the production of green hydrogen and green ammonia using renewable ‎energy” was now technically feasible at scale in Australia. (I assume using using wind power)
