RE:E&P activity picking up in VenezuelaThe key date is this April 18th. The US has set that date as a deadline on whether to reimpose sanctions or not. The Wall Street Journal says that it's not likely that the US will because 1) everybody including China, India wants Venezuela to produce more oil in order to a) control inflation and b) as a hedge against possible supply disruptions in the mid East. 2) To help improve the economy in Venezuela to stem the growing tide of migrants heading for the US.
