RE:RE:RE:Darn it all Yup. I prefer to feel good about donating anonymously to a "worthy" cause. Pretty much everything is more worthy than that guy. I prefer the food bank and insist on staying anonymous so I don't get hassled. If you're low on cash and even need to get help from the food bank, like when you are literally a starving student, you can still donate your time at the food bank. Or my choice 40-50 years ago, was to donate blood. There is zero chance that weasel has ever considered a selfless act in his life.
so possible silver lining in todays budget ? If the tax rate and/or inclusion rate on capital gains is going up, that would make tax losses more valuable unless that's been carved out somehow in the fine print. I don't have the $millions in unrealized losses one guy here has, and I hope he's all alone with that accomplishment. I don't mind paying more taxes if it means I'm making more money than most.
