Potential Buyout Date

Thinking about doing a little bit of tax planning in my retirement accounts. Is it likely OCO will be bought out by spring of 2022?

clavat, I think if they drill from April/May to December, then get results in Q1 2022 and then start to analyse etc, we are looking at Majors coming in Summer 2022 and a byout most likely end of 2022. That is just my opinion.

That's a very reasonable opinion.  Just a caveat and expectation setting: I've been part of many a mining investment.  Sadly estimated times are ALWAYS TOO OPTIMISTIC  as there are ALWAYS delays due to factors, many of which out of the control of Management.  So I hope people don't do something stupid like bailing out at the sight of the slightest hiccup just ...more

No plans on bailing out here, but I do plan on paying taxes now in my (US) tax advantaged account. Rather than a tax hit in 2022 when (hopefully) my balance is much larger.
