Confussion

The reason this is done if you think about the con game if trading stocks is to hopefully shake out people with little confidence or those that bought in a little lower and hope to score their shares on the cheap ...it like a poker game  where you get bluffed out of your position ...even with a couple of aces ...lol.  Good luck to everyone here ...

Frank, if they run production casing to TD which they will have to report, then all BS ends because it'll mean that they have future plans for the well. They won't spend the millions to run production casing if the well is a "duster". They'll just P&A it with bridge plugs and cement plugs on top and let the open hole fall apart. I don't think that I'm stepping on ...more

Not a chance they are runninbg production casing on this exploratory hole. Not designed for production. They may plug with temp cement blocks if someone once to return to do some flow testing but was never designed for production.
Comment by Kelvin on Jun 16, 2023 2:41pm
I thoughr that they were TDing with 12 1/4 inch hole. Is that not true???
Comment by Kelvin on Jun 16, 2023 2:46pm
If they TD'd with 12 1/4 inch hole then they can run 9 5/8" production casing. The well design is optimized to produce. Unlike Kawa, which was exploratory.

Ok time for me to bow out. Shedrills et al can pick it up from here. Shedrills got the cojones to do so. Geez we don't even know the hole diameter that they TD'd at.
Comment by waitingstill on Jun 16, 2023 2:54pm
My understanding is that this hole was never designed for production and always planned to P&A when finished. So no one should have expectations of production from this hole.

With all due respect WS. Well design says it was designed to produce, if warranted. At least tested. Nobody on this planet is crazy enough to flow test or try to produce an HTHP deepwater well in open hole. And you need big diameter hole to do that.
Comment by tiger77 on Jun 16, 2023 3:04pm
Fairly confident that their PR at the beginning of this actually says it will be P&A when done so I have to agree with Waitingstill here.
Comment by Kelvin on Jun 16, 2023 3:22pm
Tiger I just can't see P&A. Why spend $195 USD on a well that can't be used as a producer or water or gas injection well in the future? OK I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed. Let's see what happens.
Comment by tiger77 on Jun 16, 2023 3:37pm
A well that is used for exploration is different than a production.  Let's see what happens but I'm almost 100% sure that it said that even before the bit hit the ground so that expectations were set accordingly.
Comment by Kelvin on Jun 16, 2023 4:08pm
Well Tiger if they do run and cement production casing then this sp gonna go ballistic from what I'm told. If they don't then who knows?

Dirk (aka kelvin aka....), my friend, you are getting real close to being added to my really crowded, ignore list!  Wei-1 will be abandoned per Wei-1 Project Summary filed with Guyana's EPA page 43 section 13.3. Dirk, educate yourself or ask a question before spreading innuendos or outright falsehoods. All imo
Comment by Kelvin on Jun 16, 2023 6:43pm
Ok Sporty, They'll P&A it then. Never to be utilized for anything. Sorry folks. Just wishful thinking on my part. Doesn't make sense but it is what it is.

Kelvin dirk frank clouder, keep clogging this board with useless comments. The reality is and always has been many have been here 20+ years and it's HIT air bust. No amount of comments from you all are going to shake the people from their positions. As others have said this is a lottery ticket.

Well thinking about it I may be stepping on some shorty's interests. Here! I'll give everybody the secret to freedom. Not caring abouy what others think. Present your interpretation of the totality of all facts available. Some will trash you. Others will take it under consideration. Others will agree with you. I have no control of what others think. I just hope that they are capable of ...more
