They just bought Hess... for a tiny premium no less.

For Guyana and Stabroek block, this is amazing news. Chevron has a much fatter pocketbook and will allow much faster FID/Growth of all those discoveries already made.

For Corentyne and us hapless CGX (and many Frontera) shareholders... who in the hell knows at this point. Funny how multi billion dollar deals can occur (Pioneer and Hess), yet radio silence with CGX.

I know, this is crazy. YOu have to wonder why everyone is able to make a deal and we still havent as yet. Lets hope that our day in the Sun comes along soonnnnnn. GL GT

Hmm,, so we saw Chevron selling existing higher risk areas and here they are next door to us with Exxon. Now they will have knowledge of what we have (or forbit not have). Perhaps this one of the pieces before they purchase our play :) Sure was timely considering our results are imminent and FEC's call in a couple of weeks. We are in the final meters ...more
