Cloudy, yes I did sell just after Kawa spud on the rally when it went up to as high as 2.70, if memory serves because I know how tricky and expensive it is to drill those pressure inversions. At Shell Abary in 1975 the well was kicking while they were losing mud to the hole. Gave them all kinds of grief. Repsol Jaguar 1 ran into so much pressure that they had to abandon drilling. Further to my last our group used Repsol Jaguar1 as an offset well for guidance on what to expect. Extensive info on geology, pore pressures etc can be found in a downloadable pdf file. Oddest pumper I have ever seen. Calls management a bunch of crooks claiming they are scamming everyone, and then in the next breath says he is buying everything up. Makes about as much sense as jumping into a snowbank to warm up.

Frank, Yeah that was the Eagle1 well and it was an American rig, the Saratoga. If you're referring to Jaguar 1 well of which cgx had 25% interest rig was another Amerucan rig the Atwood Beacon. I worked on it in the Bay of Bengal and offshore Suriname. There was no extreme pressure at Eagke1. What there experienced is a pressure inversion. The pore pressure normally increases with depth.
