MOUNT MILLIGAN MINE -
Not far from ( pemc's ) Jean Marie claims lies,
Mount Milligan. ( quite close )
Best way to know what geology - is in the area...
Study another nearby - mine.
Mount Milligan is a copper, gold, moly mine.
The anomaly here is.. moly is mentioned but i've
yet ot come across the - moly values... lol
kid you not.
Where is Milligan's main mineral disposition ?
Volcanics of course.
Alkai, potassic, barium, monzonite, even rainbow dykes.
All the above reminds me of - Jean Marie.
Same signature traits.
Milligan's - Rainbow Dykes... couldn't help but think of -
Jean Marie's colorful - rock specimens in - former post - link.
MOUNT MILLIGAN EXCERPT - l
Mount Milligan is a tabular, near-surface, alkalic copper-gold porphyry deposit that measures
some 2,500 metres (m) north-south, 1,500 m east-west and is +400 m thick. It consists of two
principal zones, the Main Zone and Southern Star (SS) Zone. The Main Zone includes four
contiguous sub-zones: MBX, WBX, DWBX and 66, all of which are spatially associated with
the MBX monzonite stock and Rainbow Dyke. The SS Zone is centred on a monzonite stock of
the same name and is some 1000 m south of the Main Zone.
Main Zone mineralization and associated alteration are primarily hosted in volcanic rocks,
whereas in the SS Zone, mineralization is hosted equally in monzonite stock and volcanic rocks.
Mineralization in both zones consists of pyrite, chalcopyrite and magnetite with bornite localized
along intrusive-volcanic contacts. The pyritic 66 sub-zone is notable in that it is comparatively
gold-rich
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Main zone.... volcanics.
SS zone - mix of both monzonite and volcanics.
Where has past explorers emphasied ?
One main - fault zone.
With some step outs - into the volcanics...
But... i would say... reassaying would be of hte order.
No attempt for - wulfenite ( Pb + Mo ) variety.
Nor... figuring out all the rainbow colored - silicates.
There's a good chance this is - moly morphed.
Labelling minerals - unknown, or i think its garnet,,
doesn't cut the mustard... at least for my standards.
Blues, greens, black, reds, pinks, in crystal form.
Moly - does morph into each of these colors.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Page 122 - i find very interesting - diagram of depoists
Shows the main Harris fault.
Similar looking to that of - Jean's main fault .
What's west of this main fault ?
Same as Jeans claims...
more smaller faults.
Interesting....
Essentially.... the report is - too clean.
They framed the report around - just
silver, gold, copper.
no mention of thier moly.
lol
MILLIGAN'S GRADES ?
Lessor grade copper than Jean Marie's ... interesting .
Total Measured + Indicated 122.3 0. tonnes
Cu 0 155 % Au 0.321 g
wow.... and they mine this grade.
go figure.
i wonder if the moly - assists in the profits ...?
Makes me wonder if....
PEMC - is switching up to - gold...
using lessor - moly grades than historicals ?
trying to match the hatch for - Mount Milligan...?
They'd ceretainly be a great suitor .
Close vicinity - same zip.
And... already mining.
sooner or later they'll need more minerals....lol
What i would do...?
Work on the moly....
Find out if the rainbow colored silicates are - morphed moly.
All those altered red quartz stock, red, green, black garnets....
retest the lead - magnesium - manganese - looking for
moly bonding... such as wulfenite.
Or.... stay the course....
flip properties.. and work over this region into a play of,
someone making a regional collection of, properties.
wink. - Betwene the Norwegians and Chinese...
i would say.. .this is they're lil.... playground.
The other company PEMC dealt with...
1111 - changed it's name and the symbol can't be found on Stockhouse
directs to another compay.
Nothing like staying hidden. Under the radar.
Same goes for - pemc - where's your website ?
If your listed on the exchange... investors need this info.
Nice sizable copper and potential moly, gold, silver...
but... one must work this... hard.
if not.... only 2 holes a year... won't go anywhere.
The exisiting resource needs to be - updated.
Best way is to - retest historical cores. ( cim ) standards.
Cheaper than... drilling.
Here's the Milligan Report -
https://www.miningdataonline.com/reports/Mount%20Milligan_01212015_TR.pdf
This stock is well under valued...
But.. junior is not helping the matter.
Too silent.
Too focused on, property swaps.
Deposit sits idle.
Historicals not polished
Pitter Patter.
Cheers.....
