One of my first few posts i mentioned -
C zone was in the north.... seen a few older maps.
Yet.. when i checked PEMC's newer versions,
it places - C - zone in hte south....
Let's dismiss the black arrow in this diagram.
so oddly positioned with in word captions.
North Arrows are always - at the top of a map - poiting to north.
But.. .this black " indifferent arrow " is ill positioned.
Which questions where the claims are positioned.
If one treated this map as a standard - north is up -
Then... C zone would be in the north.
Almost as if it were.. .near COL claims.
Not unless.... one is standing north easterly and
looking south easterly....
SECOND ANOMALY -
Using hte older files on JW + JEAN
I tried frinding the same claims block on
the B.C. minerals claims maps....
ALL CLAIMS #'S HAVE SINCE CHANGED.
ALL CURRENT CLAIMS ARE - DIFF NUMBERS.
Hence i had ot match the - stream patterns - to
claim # - JW 119 -
keep in mind 2 - drill holes are shown 1975 - series 1975 REPORT -
https://apps.nrs.gov.bc.ca/pub/aris/Report/05633.pdf/ LET'S NOW COMPARE THIS CLAIMS MAP IMAGE WITH -
1978 clams map -
Notice anything ?
Look where claims block ( 119 ) is located.
Nowhere near the -Y - creek
There's 2 - Y - creeks.
compare each with - JW 119 -
AND.... this map below is from - 1978 report.
3 yrs later.
block - JW 119 -
is not showing 2 drills holes from - 1975 -
simply compare the two - Y - creeks.
count over ot where each claim - 119 - is...
one each map.
the only thing that correlates on these two maps is...
the intrusion ( aquare ) that juts into JW 119.
1978 REPORT - Page 27
https://apps.nrs.gov.bc.ca/pub/aris/Detail/6948 I wonder if the Gov't mineral mapping division
shifted thingswhen they changed over to a new
claims numbering ?
Who knows....
Maybe this post will help decipher the - JW + JEAN claims;
You know what i'd dp with the jw + jean claims ?
wink.
Also... the volcanics off to the west...
The TSITSUTL - NE - portion is avail for staking.
zinc
cobalt
nickel
red copper
soft tills and hard rock.
There are mineral reports on the - sothern portions of
Tsitsul zones.
Cheers....
