I beleave there is alot naked shorting allowed in Canada.By our gov and banks.Hopefully this changes I do beleave it will.Wth a new gov.

I believe it's a soon to be debunked conspiracy theory. There was no voting irregularities and there was no naked shorting. None that affected the election results and none that affected the stock price. As I read the voluminous press release I'm struck by 2 things. Sorry, I Don't know what you're talking about. My shares are in registered and cash accounts at my broker. If I am required to do anything their back office will advise. Otherwise the book based magic shareregistry ferries will take care of my shares. You keep your share cert in your wallet? Under the mattress? Sock drawer?

This is something that I want to get cleared up Maxmoe. I hold shares through TD specifically in my TFSA and I spoke to someone today and they claim I have unregistered shares. They're not registered directly through the company. Instead it's through the bank. My broker I guess.  They didn't have any other info and she said to call back in a week but she thinks this is done

I'm not certain. But I'm 99% confident you don't need to do anything for your tfsa shares at TD to be taken care of by the back office at TD as they will for my shares at TD, and everyone else's. If you need to do something you will get something from TD. Just like you get your proxy materials to vote your shares. Mine come in the mail. Maybe yours are electronic ? The annual
