Waiting for official CFIUS approval letter
During the 1st 45 day review period, CFIUS said that a decision would be rendered at the latest by July 7th.
Viston and PQE issued a news release on July 8th at 9am in the morning advising the market that they received a letter on July 7th from CFIUS whom had started an investigation. A decision on the investigation would conclude no later than August 22.
If decision was unfavorable, then we would have had news at 9am this morning on August 23, with letter from CFIUS dated August 22, stating that file would be sent to President Biden. There are only 15 days for this Biden review so it would have started immediately if that was the case.
But it is not the case.
Given that we have no news, it means that WE ARE APPROVED and, Viston / PQE are waiting for the official letter which can take an official few days to receive by mail.
I think they received some sort of verbal confirmation from their lawyers and, this triggered the closing of the PP.
Kingsdale seems to be up to speed as they stated to a poster at CEO that funds will arrive one week fter CFIUS approved and one week before the closing date of September 9th.
On another note, the CFIUS reviews applications to ensure that there is NO SECURITY RISK TO THE UNITED STATES of AMERCIA.
Can anyone point to any risk cause I found none.

I see no risk to the US as they can avail of the technology and will likely alos have more oil available to purchase down the road.
