Petroteq & Valkor

Is Valkor a valid company? Does anyone know?

They have an office near Houston Tx. that is in an industrial strip mall.    You can google them and find the address and look it up on Google Maps and see if you think it is legit. I doubt they have the $100M risk capital to build a plant,   nor do they have the means to raise that amount of capital for unproven teck.

so you mean to say over 4 years plus this company didn't show that their tech didn't extract any oil to any extent and that this whole thing is a fraud yet Viston was eager to give a premium on an acquisition without doing any due diligence to actually even see if the supposed tech works I would find that to be extremely unreal and incredulous. Why on Earth would anyone offer any type of ...more

I don't believe it's a fraud, far from it. But oil is out of favor and the market will be hard pressed to get the sp going to any extent. Having said that, an interested party should might take advantage of the opportunity to snap it up at the low valuation.

yeah it is fraud. Every company is under the auspices of saying we believe expect anticipate etc . The company flat out said the tech works that's a definitive claim and with that if that is a wrongful claim the SEC has been sleeping and should halt the stock until it fixes the write up. I was invested with xmg minerals quite some time back and it claimed its extraction process works this was ...more

The technology is not a fraud. The Chapman Engineering Company conducts an economic viability study for Petroteq’s CORT technology, officially declaring it economically viable for commercial scaling. Problem is, it's capital intensive and deep pockets are needed to build plants large enough to create the economic scale needed for profit. We're talking many 100s of millions. Until then ...more

stockshack this is great to know because like I said I tripled my holdings here. Would you kindly share where in the company's news release this is stated I may have missed it. Please folks no outside articles just direct press releases because people who write articles tend to exaggerate the press and distort the claims. Now the point I was trying to make is if the company is stating it is ...more

This growth plan appears to be old - e.g. under Phase 2 it says FEED due to complete Q2 2021 instead of saying FEED completed June 2021 ... the FEED has been completed and a report produced saying, if I remember correctly, that it does work and it even estimated how much it would cost to build a 5,000 bpd plant ... what we need now is a new plan - where will they get the money to pay for builidng ...more

All true, there's bound to be hiccups. My money is on them being successful.

longer term mine too.

A big problem is the terrible share structure. With 797m shares I see at least a 1 for 10 roll back. Markets don't react favorably to share consolidation.
Comment by ScarletSpider on Sep 27, 2022 12:21pm
yes but that should only be done when they have strong backers in place more key American ones not saying the backers that are there now are not important they are they are keeping this going. Bottom line way better to do that and when raising money you do so at higher prices less dilution keeping the share value up. I personally want this on the main exchanges but only when it has enough behind ...more

Share consolidations and equity financings are part of the process until the ball starts rolling, it is what it is. Oil price is down and out of favor, just have to hold the fort until things get better.
Comment by ScarletSpider on Sep 27, 2022 1:15pm
despite oil being out of favor the reality is until the alternatives can be successfully implemented in a way broader scale the best option is oil and gas. With production and supply slow downs trying to get the best alternative energy which is as effective as fossil fuels there is a long ways to go. It is simply stupid in many ways to throw the baby out with the bath water. In fact as I may have ...more

We pick and choose companies that we think will have a future. Doing so means we have to sort through all the information out there and separate the wheat from the chaff. CEOs have to shed their companies in the best light and sometimes they get carried away. If it's too good to be true, it is. The other side of the coin is investors are hungry for a quick buck and tend to believe the "to ...more

excellent response. Licensing revenue while the plant not fully running is essential but a huge piece of the equation is American presence if from my understanding that was one of the big reasons the takeover was rejected threat to US domestic economy. The biggest key is regardless of how good interest is with foreign players you absolutely need US backing to have a prayer to get the plant up and ...more

     Of course they don't, that's why they're looking for a partner-takeover-buyout.
